Police appeal after 'peacemaker' wounded in Crystal Palace wine bar brawl
7:40am Friday 3rd September 2010

Police are appealing for information after a man trying to break up a fight was glassed in the head in a Crystal Palace wine bar.
Witnesses said the man was left with serious head injuries after he stepped-in to act as peacemaker while out celebrating his girlfriend's birthday in Numidie, Westow Hill, on Sunday night.
A stag do was taking place in the bar that night, according to reports.
Police said they were called to the bar about 1.20am on August 30 to reports of a fight at a restaurant.
They found a man in his 40s who had been assaulted with a glass and received injuries to the back of his head.
London Ambulance Service took him to hospital, but his injuries were not life changing.
Croydon police are still investigating the incident, and witnesses should call 0300 123 1212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
